Amgen Announces Webcast of First Quarter Financial Results

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif--April 12, 2004--Amgen Inc. (Nasdaq:AMGN), the world's largest biotechnology company, today announced that it would report first quarter financial results on Thursday, April 22, 2004 after the financial markets close. The announcement will be followed by a conference call with the investment community at 2:00 p.m. PDT.
Participating in the call from Amgen will be Kevin Sharer, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President, and other members of Amgen's senior management.
Live audio of the conference call will be simultaneously broadcast over the Internet and will be available to members of the news media, investors and the general public. The conference call is expected to last approximately one hour.
